When you publish a web service that have a message with a certain namespace
as a parameter, the request looks like:

<soap:Body>
<SendMessage xmlns="http://yyy">
<alert xmlns="urnasis:names:tc:emergency:cap:1.1">
<identifier>string</identifier>
<sender>string</sender>
.....

When creating a web method with a parameter of a type with the same
namespace, with visual studio, the request looks like:

<soap:Body>
<SendMessage xmlns="http://yyy">
<parametername xmlns:x="urnasis:names:tc:emergency:cap:1.1">
<x:identifier>string</x:identifier>
<x:sender>string</x:sender>
.....

Notice the difference in namespace and parameter name.

BizTalk Web Publishing Wizard tells us wich type to send in, while the
request to a "normal" web service also want us to specifiy the parameter name.

Shold this be compatible? It seems not. I have tried it when calling a WCF
service and the inparameter becomes null unless I name messages root element
as the parameter.

It seems strange if one need to specify the parameter name. When calling a
normal method, one just pass a variable of correct type and do not need to
name it . I do agree that the parameter belong to another namespace (the
method's).

Have should one think in this case?
