Yup. I use /year/month/day for my blog, but I do wonder now and then if
there are actually people (besides me that is) who just try /2005/02/15 to
find out what I did on my birthday :-)

Again, after much tinkering I almost certianly convinced to go for ....
.co.uk/subcat/brand-model

Our man that can has removed the original /cat/ (category) and /pd/
(product) identifiers and now uses trailing /
so .co.uk/cat/treadmill -> .co.uk/treadmill/
and
.co.uk/pd/lifefitness-t9i -> .co.uk/lifefitness-t9i

so the final product page URL will be......

..co.uk/treadmill/lifefitness-t9i

................... I think.

No, it's not now.
A more subtle trailing slash on no trailing slash is used to
differenciate petween products and categories now.
