(Ignore the all caps result; that is a leftover from when I had
the site on a ISO 9660 CD-ROM. Nowdays you can you can make
a hybrid CD-ROM with an ISO 9660 index and index extensions for
Rock Ridge (Linux/BSD/OS X/UNIX), Joliet (Windows 9x/NT.2K/XP),
and HFS (Macintosh OS 9 or lower).)
If fact, there is no particular reason why the structure of
the URLs has to have any resemblance to the structure of the
filesystem. I do it that way just because it's simpler.
