Hi SEOJD,
Google actually updates the PageRank constantly. However, they only export the PR to the Google Toolbar every 3 months or so. So, the page that is showing PR0 now on the toolbar, probably has a higher PageRank than that right now. You just won't see it reported on the toobar, until the next Toolbar PR export (update), which will probably be around the end of July, or maybe early August. (The last PR update was at the end of April.) Here's a more detailed explanation of how PageRank works: http://www.quantawebdesign.com/tips/pagerank.html cheers ~ Denise -- - "seojd" <jitendralovekar@gmail.com> wrote in message news:1182968989.171754.139210@g37g2000prf.googlegr oups.com... > Hi, > I undertake SEO jobs for my clients and would like to have many of > my site on Top. > > After reading some docs, I realize that I need to have lot of > backlinks. > > My website <a href="http://www.creative-software>creative > software</a> is well made and I would like it to have a good page > rank. > > Currently There a number of PR5 backlinks to the site. Or every eighteenth Severn Bore. No, I think you know you had it right with the coral spawning thing. No need to be sarcastic, Phil. You really need to basic learn stuff like that BEFORE you go taking clients money - or you may find yourself in deep water! -- Andrew http://www.seo2seo.com/ http://www.sick-site-syndrome.com/ First things first - but not necessarily in that order. |

The "search engine optimization" & "search engine submissions" pages are so poorly written I laughed out loud. (I didn't read any further.) For instance, "Directories are small search engine..." and "But when we want to force the search engine to optimize the website for a particular keyword, then human effort is required." Eek. SEOJD, please research basic SEO concepts before untertaking work for clients. I would also suggest you hire someone who is a native speaker of English to rewrite the page for you. As written, it is nonsensical and unlikely to draw any clients. Denise |
